Show Review

When they take the stage, they do so with a commanding kind of moxie...the kind that suggests they're more than just romanticizing well worn, but (sometimes) pitifully practiced rock clichs. The Kills are living it...Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince are a legitimate presence, exerting an angst ridden, almost unattainable attitude of their very own. With danger in their delivery, sex in their swagger, and maybe even a bit of booze on their breath, it's no wonder this performance from the Domino Records showcase stands out as one of SXSW's finest hours. -David Pitz
