Show Review

Occupy Wall Street has had a healthy serving of musicians lend their support to the movement. The inhabitants of Zuccotti Park have been visited by Jeff Mangum, Kanye, Tom Morello, and David Crosby and Graham Nash. Most of them (save Kanye) helped to raise awareness with spontaneous performances in the plaza, with Crosby/Nash even suggesting a benefit album in support of the movement might be a grand idea.

Yesterday, Baeble favs Fitz and the Tantrums added their names to the growing list of musicians who are supporting the effort, peeking in on OWS and rallying the spirits of the protestors with a performance of the seminal summer smash "Moneygrabber" and the aptly themed jam "Dear Mr. President. We had a chance to capture their visit, as well as talk to Noelle Scaggs and Jeremy Ruzumna about what inspired them to take to the streets of lower Manhattan, and what they hope OWS accomplishes.
