In between recording sessions for their eagerly anticipated 2009 full-length (which you can track here), Boston buzz beneficiaries Passion Pit are keeping up a feverish pace in support of August's Chunk of Change EP. After a slew of highly-regarded CMJ shows, and a run of sold-out west coast dates with French electro-pop starlet Yelle, the band has announced a live schedule that should see them through the remainder of the year and into early '09. They'll be making a stop in Brooklyn on December 5th, before playing a New Years party at Great Scott on the 31st, and finally hitting the road during January and early February with Cale Parks and Paper Route. All this on the heels of their recent Recommended review on Pitchfork, the premiere of Sleepyhead on MTV2, and the launch of a remix contest with DJ extraordinaires Fingers on the Pulse.
