ARTS & CRAFTS ANNOUNCES DEBUT FULL-LENGTH FROM STILL LIFE STILL 'GIRLS COME TOO' AVAILABLE AUGUST 25, 2009

une 22, 2009 // Toronto, ON Arts & Crafts is set to release the debut full-length from the youthful members of East York, ON quintet, Still Life Still. The much-anticipated album titled, Girls Come Too, will be available August 25, 2009.
Together since grade school, Brendon Saarinen (vocals/guitar), Eric Young (vocals/guitar), Derek Paulin (bass), Aaron Romaniuk (drums) and Josh Romaniuk (keyboards/percussion) have been playing music together over the past decade. Through enthusiastic word of mouth and the band's infectious performances in the Toronto house party scene, Still Life Still has built a devoted Toronto fan base.
Girls Come Too was recorded and mixed by Martin Davis Kinack and Kevin Drew. Recorded largely live off the floor, the songs capture the band's raw and irresistible, thrill-a-minute live sound.
With their first ever release, an EP titled Pastel, arriving in stores this past week, Still Life Still has quickly grabbed the attention of the press as well. The band graced the front cover of NOW Magazine earlier this month in anticipation of their NXNE performance, while Exclaim! Magazine described the band's EP as possessing an intangible quality a young, almost nave energy that adds life to their songs and makes them more than just another band to write off. Adding, thankfully, this is only the beginning.
Following this past weekend's triumphant performance at Toronto's Edgefest, music fans in southern Ontario can catch the band this weekend at the dates below.
