Sun Culture is the project of Nashville-based songwriter/producer Chase Coy.
After independently selling over 300,000 singles and gaining his first major record and publishing deals at 18 years old, Coy formed the idea for Sun Culture in summer of 2013. Deciding to branch out and make an indie record under a new moniker, Coy went into the studio in August with fellow producer Jordan Schmidt to create what became the self-titled debut album.
The self-titled album was released on March 25, 2014. It consist of eight tracks co-written and co-produced by Coy and Schmidt, and was featured as a free download on Noisetrade its debut week, and BriteRevolution the following week. It received close to 4,000 downloads in the first month of its release.
Coy is currently working on demos for the next release, and trying to secure live touring opportunities.
