Not many bands could describe their music as "left-field hip-hop warped by LSD and barfed out as post-punk shrapnel with chunks of stoned plunderphonics and psych swirl". But Brooklyn based band Power Douglas aren't like the other bands in the borough. No...What Jesse Crawford, Timmy Harp, and terminally unhinged vocalist/spastic slam poet Furor Thin do is decidedly different. Perhaps that's how they caught the attention of TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, who helped handle vocals on the group's debut album, Pentecostal Fangbread.
